One of the last chrome bumper Corvettes produced and the last factory air LT1 built, this 1972 LT1 coupe is one of just 240 built with that combination, in this case backed by a 3.55 Positraction rear end. Produced on July 25, 1972 and sold new by Keystone Motors in Chicago, IL, it was formerly part of the famed Bob McDorman Collection. In addition to its appealing color pairing of Mille Miglia Red with a Saddle leather interior, it is also optioned with power steering and brakes, power windows, tinted glass, tilt/telescopic steering column, AM/FM radio and deluxe wheel covers. This particular car has had a frame up restoration from a very original and solid corvette. It's a numbers matching car with the VIN number stamped on the engine. This motor has a solid lifter cam and is a strong running car. Additional features include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Rallye Wheels, Deluxe Leather Interior with Wood Trim, Tilt and Telescopic Steering, Power Windows, T-Tops and AM/FM Radio. There was a lot of attention to detail on this high-end restoration. The paint is laser straight with a stunning finish. The original bumpers have been professionally chrome plated.
